/pursuit-of-happiness-mp3-download.html. Re the age, yours do have a much earlier serial number which you should easily be able to date. But that won't necessarily add to the value, the value is largely dependent upon the state of the lenses, which look good, only a little dusty. I found a mint pair of older Swarovski SLC 10x42. I believe they are the non-Swarobright because the glass has a purple hue. They want $800 The cheapest used Swarobright or NEU glasses that are mint (that I have found) are between $1150 -$1200. The third looks to be a batch number which is unchanged, and the last five are the serial number. Kimmo xx x xxxxx - Nov 2010 Dennis 87 7 002xx - Feb 2012 BruceH 21 7 000xx - Sep. 2014 Binastro 17 7 00xxx - May 2014 I am wondering if the serial number starts over at zero each month. If so, then they made 200 plus in February of 2012.

I am selling my Swarovski EL 10x42 binos. Lenses are in great shape with no scratches or wear. I bought them last summer for a special elk tag I drew and in the process I realized I really want the EL Range version.
These have a K85 serial number, so they were produced in 2015. They have incredible low light transmission, light weight and SUPER clear.
I bought them over for 2k last August but want the EL Range so bad I will sell these for $1,750 and ship them to you.
I ALSO has a new Vortex Razor HD 27-48 65mm Spotting Scope I am selling to get the 85mm version. Wife bought it for me last year and used it 2x, I just want the bigger eye. that is $875 and Ill ship that too.
Both I would consider to almost new in box condition. Still have boxes and all paperwork, never registered either unit with the manufacturers.

Thanks for the replies.
I have always been fond of the craftsmanship and viewing of the Swarovski SLC since I first picked up a set in the mid 90s. They were the best viewing/quality that I had ever tried at the time. Finally thought I would treat myself to a set (always said one day I would own a pair), but $1399 is kind of hard to swallow for a set (new) when I can find some for half the price in new condition. I hardly ever see a used pair for sale, especially in mint condition. I guess people really hold on to these.
I wish I could take these and compare them to the NEU set or a standard Swarobright set, to see if they are really worth the extra cash.
Times are still hard and cash is short, to be throwing money away.
Never new there was a difference between old and new till I started reading this forum. I thought it was a change in the armor only. So I don't know whether ro thank you guys or curse you. LOL
If anyone else has true hands on experience between the two, please speak up. I don't think these glasses will last long as I saw several people ask to see them.
Thanks again
P.S
About the Meopta Meostar, I just returned the Cabelas Euro set yesterday that I had ordered. Made by Meopta and a clone of the Meostar/SLC. I thought this was an easy $800 out for the Swarovski. But the viewing was not any better than the used set I had found and the craftsmanship did not seem as good. (mainly the eye piece and the diopler knob) I thought why pay $800 for these when I could get a premium set of glass for the same price.
At least that is what i thought till I started reading these forums.
